[CanSat Introduction]
Our CanSat has two missions. The missions are following:
/ATV real time downlink
/Come Back
Regarding the ATV mission, the frequency is 2.4GHz(S-band).
We attempted to add a magnetic and acceleration sensor to our CanSat for the Come Back mission.
However, we couldn't fix hardware bug on main board by a launch.
So we gave up adding them.
[Result]
In first flight, we tested ATV real time downlink and couldn't receive a movie from our CanSat.
Few days after, we tested again in Bruno. The test was successful on the ground.
The distance from the transmitter to the receiver is about 6km.
We confirm that the antenna has directional characteristics surprisingly.
In second flight, we tried Come Back.
The bus system normally worked according to our control law, but our CanSat wasn't controlled because the parafoil code is probably unfastened due to the launching vibration.
Meanwhile GPS data downlink by using GMSK modulation was succeed in both flights.
So we could find out our lost CanSat according to GPS data.

[Impressions]
We had acquired the knowledge and technique which is necessary for us to develop our satellite.
The time we spent developing our CanSat is so meaningful.
However, we regret that our CanSat didn't work as we had expected.
We will make use of acquired experiment to develop our satellite.
